This is a dedicated fund designed to provide temporary financial support during unexpected emergencies or personal crises.
Who Is Eligible?
Southern Minnesota Residents.
Southern Minnesota residents who live or work in one of the following Southern Minnesota counties. Blue Earth, Faribault, Freeborn, Houston, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona counties. Additional counties will soon be eligible.

How long does approval take?
We review all emergency assistance applications quickly. Keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder for email updates regarding your application status.
Can I call to ask for assistance or check my application status?
No, we do not accept phone calls for assistance requests. You don't need to check in; we will automatically notify you every time your status changes and as soon as your application is approved.
